THE SEVEN SWORDS OF WOH

A fairytale religion founded in the old clans of the Ellawenni people, The Seven Swords of Woh is closer to a fable than an established faith. It tells of a mythical sky spirit named Woh that surfs the clouds above and rides the flowing winds. The spirit is most commonly depicted as a huge translucent dragon or wyvern with wispy, elegant features and a spiritual glow.

A centre point of the faith tells of The Seven Swords, said to be masterwork weapons of great warriors whose spirits, after their death, merged with their swords. These swords are scattered across Entrellia, afixed in holy monuments or glorified atop grand mountains. Those most devoted to the beliefs and legends seek out these mystical swords to prove themselves worthy, gain favour upon completing the holy pilgrimage, or to simply see if the stories are true. Touching only the handle and resisting the urge to draw the blade, legend tells, is what bestows a seeker with the insights and wisdom of Woh.
Each sword resembles an aspect or trait that is seen as virtuous in the eyes of this religion. Some believing the spirits of the warriors still linger within the blades, even after centuries. While others believe Woh is a combined force of all seven spirits of the warriors and their holy atributes.
