THE WATCHING WOLF
Represents the Everhalls, the night sky, death and fear
The Watching Wolf, also known as just "The Wolf" is the Numen of death, fear and the night sky. He is known most commonly for the fetching of souls, as well as being the guardian and creator of The Everhalls, a plane where souls are taken and enslaved after death.

While supposedly formless, The Wolf's appearance is said to have matted fur that billows and rolls like thick, heavy smoke. It endlessly consumes and fills its surroundings no matter the size. With eyes that glow a burning white, akin to stars, and fangs just as stark. These features are supposedly all that is seen of The Wolf, as everything else is hidden behind a darkness that encompasses him. He is said to have thirteen heads, each seemingly with their own desires, personalities and conflicts, all sharing one body. They argue with each other and even fight for dominance during conversation, a behaviour comparable to extreme cases of borderline personality disorder. With so much inner chaos, his patience is always thin, acting with irritation and annoyance, barking and snapping at anyone who tests him.

The Wolf historically leads one side of The Endless War, fighting against the opposing moon Numen, Ome, to one day reclaim and enslave every soul on Entrellia, forcing them into undying labour.

HISTORY

FIRST CREATION
As one of the first Numen, The Wolf's origins are shrouded in mystery until the arrival of The First Creation. A more straight forward theory to his creation tells that he had been brought to life by Beyond the Halls, however others tell of a more mysterious and happenstance event where light from The Plane of Illumination drifted to The Void, creating The Wolf by chance. During this time, The Wolf was merely a single headed hound with a pelt fashioned from the night sky. He was obedient and loyal, fetching escaping light in service of Beyond the Halls within The Astral Sea.

HOLY SYMBOLS
Commonly, The Wolf is represented by a long six pointed star. The colour of which can be black, white or in rare cases, red.

The symbol can also be presented in a string or chain of thirteen stars with alternating sizes. Usually painted across walls, worn as necklaces or as tattoos.

Alternate variations of the star symbol exist with thirtheen points, instead of six.
There are also more elaborate versions of The Wolf symbology. One with thirteen white stars acting as eyes to a multiheaded black wolf., usually reserved for advanced architecture or sculptures.

CHAMPIONS
The Watching Wolf is known to be very fickle and untrusting of his own followers, including Champions that could usurp his reign or betray him if the opportunity arose. Those that become his Champions often are restricted and bound by unbreakable oaths, or are simply too inept to scheme an intelligent ploy that would surpass The Wolf's own suspicions and paranoia. This leaves the positions commonly open to unthinking, destructive, barely sentient servants much like the enthralled souls of The Everhalls, or sworn and loyal beings too fearful to rise up against him. Regardless, they are regularly replaced and on occasion, reinstated when The Wolf sees fit.

THE BLACK MIST
The Black Mist is the Champion of true darkness and acts as The Watching Wolf's personal shroud and concealer. It is a gaseous being that can cover miles of open space with its shapeless form, coating even the brightest of areas in complete blackness that light cannot pierce.

Little is known about The Black Mist, other than its imposing presence, but some theorise the mist is the night sky, one that covers the blue of the daylight sky.

SHEYGO, THE KEEPER OF THE DEAD
Sheygo is said to be female lich, most notably known for being the gatekeeper of The Everhalls and overseer of the souls within. Her main purpose is to ensure those who summon powerful or monsterous undead with spells or rituals using Black Magic must first provide a suitable reason, offering or bargain. A soul is a priceless resource and must be traded as such. If the purpose for souls to be released is of an appropriate cause, Sheygo can conjure a secret path beyond Ome's sight, privately escorting the soul to the bargainer.

Akin to The Watching Wolf, Sheygo shares the heads of canine creatures that cackle and laugh, though she has a body far more humanoid from what is presumed to be her previous life. However her form can appear as a regular, unassuming woman if she utlisies a Shimmerform.

JESHIN'GARR
Said to be a white furred T'gari desperate to see his lost dead wife, Jeshin'garr spent his lifetime researching how The Watching Wolf captured souls of the dying, even studying the Numen descending through planes to harvest and claim them. Jeshin'garr documented these sights and wrote his theories in a black leather notebook that famously smelt of flowers and spices. In this journal, he eventually invented and created a magical device in the form of a planar harpoon, that would supposedly allow him to latch onto The Watching Wolf when he was returning to The Everhalls after collecting a soul. The T'gari's journal and writting ends before any tests were documented, but it is highly suggested that Jeshin'garr was successful.

What followed was only myths and tales told through stories and song, how upon arrival of the halls, Jeshin'garr saw his wife's soul, corrupt beyond repair and twisted out of recognition. Jeshin'garr was driven mad by the sight and circumstance that left him unable to return home. He was forever stuck in the halls of eternal death, having left his journal in Entrellia. Jeshin'garr thereafter is rumoured to have slowly succame to the dark pull of The Watching Wolf, but what remained of Jeshin'garr after his plane hop is extremely vague, many not knowing the rest of the true story or how he came to be a Champion.
