NUMENBORN
Originally celestials fighting in The Endless War, Numenborn, sometimes called Moonborn, are what remain of the descended mortalised White Spectres who found their homes on Entrellia. Ome, Yugen and Mirus each continue to honour the freed Numenborn, remembering the duty of their ancestors and blessing many Numenborn with an inherited celestial aura and appearance, such as a subtle radiant glow, luscious, bright hair, reflecting gold or blue flecks within their skin, and more features akin to whichever light they were born under.

Despite losing much of their Divine magic, Numenborn still continued to remain virtuous and heroic in nature. Many wished to do good, to thrive and to stand against evil.

HISTORY
Numenborn are said to have originally been immortal celestials created in the likeness and image of the three Moon Numen, Yugen, Ome and Mirus, with the intention to fight and vanquish the overwhelming undead during The Endless War. However, the first of the celestials were eventually offered mortality, finding a home on the material plane of Entrellia to live with the freedom of choice and safety, away from The Endless War. Ome is said to have believed himself to be no better than The Wolf if he continued to force his own creations to fight along side him. He'd see himself just as evil, stating no being should exist with the only purpose to be war. Ome therefore decided to give those loyal to him the choice of mortality and a new name, Numenborn. He would also allow these Numenborn to keep some of their Divine magic that they harnessed during their service in the war as gratitude for their eternal service. Those who elected to stay and willingly fight, refusing the option of mortal life, remain known as Ome's White Spectres.
At the beginning of 6C, many Numenborn under The Collective were enlisted in a war known as The Sundering. Called to remember their ancient duty and defend the realm against the evil that plagues it.

CULTURE
Though a singular race and never internally discriminated against, Numenborn are said to be born under one of three lights, Ome, Mirus or Yugen. Their parents genetics are influential and two Omeborns are likely to produce more Omeborn children, however, it is still possible to birth other lights.

OME'S LIGHT
To be born in Ome's light is to have black or white hair, with golden eyes and golden flecks. Omeborn are the most humble and stoic of the Numenborn, with natural wisdom and patience.
MIRUS' LIGHT
To be born in Mirus' light is to have black, blue or purple hair, with blue or purple eyes and blue or purple flecks. Mirusborn often refer to their flecks as Mirus' blush, as they tend to have softer, less harsh markings.
YUGEN'S LIGHT
To be born in Yugen's light is to have brown, red or blonde hair, with brown or gold eyes and golden flecks. Yugenborn are blessed with youthful looks, seemingly aging slower in comparison appearance wise to their other kin.
